Being a successful plastic surgeon, published author and a media commentator, Jennifer Lee Walden is a successful career woman who has made her mark in the world of medicine. She is also the president and founder of Jennifer L. Walden, M.D., PLLC and Walden Cosmetic Surgery Center, PLLC. The center offers plastic surgery and ambulatory surgery services and is based in Austin, Texas.
Born to parents with a substantial medical background, Dr. Walden was raised in Austin, Texas where she attained her education, all through to the University. After completing her secondary education at Anderson High School, she went ahead to the University of Texas, whereby she attained an undergraduate degree in Biology. After that, Dr. Walden proceeded to medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch, whereby she graduated as salutatorian in her class.
Following her fellowship training at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital, Jenny L. Walden received her mentorship from Dr. Sherrell Aston, who was the department chair of the hospital. While in New York, she was an active participant in clinical trials and also steered the reintroduction of silicone breast implants. In 2014 she was among the twenty-four best surgeons listed in Harper’s Bazaar.
