Is Lime Crime going to create a third Venus Palette?

Lime Crime, a cruelty-free, vegan-friendly California-based cosmetics company founded by Doe Deere in 2008, is known for its bold colors, love of glitter, and perfectly-coordinated hues put together in gorgeous palettes. Lime Crime’s better-known collection consists of the Venus Palettes – Venus, Venus II, and Venus XL, respectively. All three feature silky-smooth, densely-loaded pigments that are both colorful and versatile, offering wearers many options for mixing and matching colors to get that one-of-a-kind look.

Doe Deere started Lime Crime after wanting to have access to and give access to colorful makeup for “girls and boys like me, who express themselves unapologetically”. As founder, owner, and CEO of Lime Crime, Deere has the ability to breathe her influence into a line of cosmetics that shows her love of colors, glitter, and eccentric styles.

Lime Crime’s Venus Palettes aren’t popular simply because of the penchant for bright colors, plenty of sparkle, and a backing brand that follows cruelty-free and vegan-friendly guidelines; they are popular because of the mixture of matte, pearl, glowing, and sparkly finishes, and for the use of an eclectic group of colors that can be used in numerous ways.

Rumor has it that after the rounding success with the original Venus Palette, and Venus II Palette, Lime Crime is executing plans for Venus 3. While Venus Original focused on warm, peachy shades; and Venus II leaned more towards both cool and warm street grunge shades, the speculation is that Venus 3 will lean more towards soft pinks, with plenty of shimmer and glitter.
